KS-200 CORROSION PROTECTION WAX - BROWN/ TRANSPARENT

KS-200 is designed to protect hollow cavities on vehicles from corrosion. It flows into tight spaces and has very good adhesion to metal. KS-200 has an excellent heat resistance and can be used on parts of the engine. Suitable for renewing and retreating of existing protective coatings.

KS-200 has a hydrophobic and penetrating effect. Once the solvents are evaporated, KS-200 is slightly sticky and leaves a glazed wax-like film on the surface. KS-200 will provide a reliable rust protection for several years and has a long-term protection on surfaces, which are in contact with agressive liquids like salt-water etc. KS 200 has a high melting point of 160°C and has a no-dripping feature for an optimal use.

The drying time depends on the layer thickness and ambient conditions. When cured the product remains smooth and tacky (ca. 5 hours)

Application:

The surfaces to be treated must have the worst of the rust removed beforehand. They should also be dry and free of grease, oil, and dust. Shake the container well before using and apply product at room temperature (15°C – 30°C). Spray an extra-thick layer on problem zones like corners, edges and weld seams.
